The Big Question
1. What is a blog?
A web log.
2. How can teachers use a blog or photoblog to engage students? Give several examples.
With photos, you could have a picture posted and have the students reflect on their thoughts, or attach it to a writing prompt.
You could create a literature circle where students read and respond/discuss their thoughts. There have been blogs where a seperate blog was attached for parents to repond and be a part of the literature circle.
3. Which blog example did you find most useful? Why?
Edublogs because it was a combination about being an educator and lesson ideas.
